Hanging Baskets
Hanging Baskets are the favourites for people with disabilities and older people who have difficulty bending, brackets can be fixed at a suitable height so that any of our clients can attend to the baskets needs, and we can even provide a pulley system to help access the basket if you wish place it out of reach.
Baskets come in a range of materials including wrought iron, willow, wire and many more. Liners to hold the compost in place are available in moss, wool, cardboard, coconut fibre and any more. Our baskets are supplied with a slow release fertilizer which automatically feeds the plants for 6 months beyond the normal 6 weeks that compost provides feed; the food is taken up by the roots as required. Our baskets also contain water retaining crystals which absorb water and help the basket from drying out during hot spells so if you go away for the weekend you don’t need to worry about who will look after you hanging baskets.
Summer baskets are available from beginning of June, after all danger of frost has past, and winter baskets at the end of September for flowering in spring (these require very little watering).
Vegetable plants can also be grown in hanging baskets; we provide tomatoes, specially grown for cascading from a hanging basket. Strawberries can also be grown in hanging baskets
Containers
Container gardening is becoming increasingly popular. It cuts out back breaking digging, and the daunting task of weeding.
containers can be provided in ceramic or plastic. the advantage of ceramic containers is that they do not blow over, the disadvantage is the ceramic is porous so the plants will dry out quicker. Plastic containers are lighter and easier to move around the garden.
Containers are ideal for people who work and have a small garden, terrace, balcony or roof garden. Containers can provide the correct soil type for gardens with sandy or clay soil and the correct pH level for the plant.
Containers can be moved to any part of the garden if the plant requires shade or sun; they can also be brought inside in the winter for tender plants protection. Again containers can be for winter or summer. After you think our winter containers have reached their best you will be surprised by a late show of spring bulbs.
A vast range of fruit and vegetables can be grown in containers from mini lettuces to fig trees. We provide containers with seeds already germinated to take home and watch them grow. This is ideal for children to learn where vegetables come from. The containers can then be brought back to us and refilled. It does not take long to build up a kitchen garden on a patio with containers. Herbs and salads are also provided in containers.

All our Hanging Baskets and containers can be made up in a colour coordinated scheme of your choice. orders can be placed via our online contact form and we will be in touch asap (please type in the comments box what you require) or contact us personally.
You can come along and make up your own basket or container (with our help) Pay as you go, choosing from a selection of our Pick and Mix plants.
A delivery service is available for all our baskets and containers; we will also provide an advice sheet with all our hanging baskets and containers.
We can also bring a selection of baskets, containers and plants to your business reception area / car park or residential home and deliver a pick and mix session to your staff in their lunch hour.
Businesses, hotels and residential homes can also be supplied with hanging baskets, containers/patio pots at repetitive prices.
Local delivery can be arranged.
